10. Consulta a Profesionales:

]]>Surfing is a very peculiar discipline. One of the few that cannot be practiced every day. And when you can, every day is different. Because it depends on the conditions of the waves (wind, tide, strength, direction, height, etc.), a fundamental element, and they change every hour.
To know when there are waves at each beach or spot and what they will be like, there are several methods and weather information pages. From the buoys of the State Ports to websites specialized in wind such as Windguru or some that have webcams focusing on some waves such as Camaramar.
To facilitate all the interpretations of the reports, there are also apps . One of them, Todosurf , is Spanish and has just taken a very important step forward in its evolution. After more than 20 years in the world of surfing in continuous development and offering weather information, magazine and forum services, TDS now centralizes its efforts in giving the user the best and most valuable information for their surf sessions.
The app offers free 14-day forecasts with global and multi-language coverage . With a new forecast model that is based on the information provided by the most reliable sources and models (Copernicus and NOAA). Then it transfers them to each beach according to its characteristics - bottom, orientation, tide, etc. - thus adding added value that makes them as realistic as possible.
The user , who can select their favorite beaches, receives this information in the simplest and most summarized way possible through Todosurf: wave height, force, wind, orientation, temperature... and also allows them to record and rate each swim ( even the material that has been used), so that little by little it determines what the best conditions are for each place, including the secret spots (created by the user himself; and private) satisfying both novices and the most experts.
You can check it periodically and, when there are waves, stop by Obsession Surf School, on Sardinero beach, to take a lesson or rent material. We will wait for you here!

]]>Choose the appropriate thickness. The thickness of the neoprene you need will depend on the temperature of the water. If you usually surf in warm waters, a 2mm neoprene is sufficient. However, if you are tackling colder waters, you will need a thicker neoprene, which can range from 3mm to 6mm.
Make sure the neoprene fits well. A wetsuit that is too tight will restrict your movements and leave you uncomfortable during your surf session. On the other hand, one that fits too loosely won't keep you warm and can be dangerous. It is important that you try on several models and sizes to find the one that best fits your body.
Consider the quality of the neoprene. Not all wetsuits are the same. There are low-quality wetsuits that wear out quickly and lose their elasticity over time, forcing you to buy a new one. On the other hand, there are high-quality neoprenes that are more durable and maintain their elasticity for longer. It is preferable to invest in a quality neoprene so that it lasts longer and offers better performance.
Rate the additional features. Modern wetsuits often come with additional features that can improve your surfing experience. For example, some models have thermal panels that retain heat in specific areas of the body, while others have waterproof zippers that prevent water from entering.
In conclusion, choosing the right wetsuit is important so that you can enjoy surfing to the fullest. Consider water temperature, fit, quality and additional features when choosing the wetsuit that best suits your needs. With the right wetsuit, you'll be ready to dominate the waves!
]]>If you are passionate about winter sports, you surely love snowboarding. This sport consists of sliding through the snow on a board specially designed for it. But how do you choose the perfect snowboard for you? In this article we will give you some advice so that you can make the right choice.
Experience level: The first thing to consider when choosing your snowboard is your experience level. If you are a beginner, you will want to look for a board that is easier to control and maneuver. Beginner boards are usually flatter in shape and slightly wider, making them more stable and easier to ride. If you already have some experience, you can opt for a more technical board with specific characteristics that suit your snowboarding style.
Snowboard type: It is also important that you define what type of snowboard you want. Do you like to freestyle in the snowpark? Or do you prefer freeride in the mountains? Depending on your preferences, you can choose between different types of snowboards. Freestyle snowboards are more flexible and lighter, and are designed for tricks and jumps in the snowpark. Freeride snowboards, for their part, are more rigid and are designed for going down the mountain and off-piste.
Table size: Another factor to take into account is the size of the table. The length of the board will depend on your height, weight and experience level. In general, longer boards are more stable at high speeds, while shorter boards are more maneuverable and easier to turn. You'll also need to pay attention to the width of the board, as if your boots stick out too much, you'll have trouble controlling the board.
Table Flexibility: The flexibility of the table is also important. A very stiff board will be more stable at high speeds, but more difficult to control in turns and tricks. On the other hand, a very flexible board will be easier to maneuver, but less stable at high speeds. You will have to find a balance between rigidity and flexibility that suits your needs.
Table shape: Finally, you should pay attention to the shape of the table. Most boards have a directional shape, meaning they have a tip and tail that point in the same direction. However, there are other shapes that may be more suitable for some riders. For example, twin boards have the same shape on both ends, making them ideal for freestyle riding.
In short, choosing the right snowboard will depend on your level of experience, your preferences and physical characteristics. It is best to go to a specialized store and let yourself be advised by professionals who will help you find the perfect board for you. And don't forget to have fun in the snow!
Hello! In this article I will tell you everything you need to know about evolutionary surfboards.
Evolutionary surfboards are an excellent option for those who want to progress their wave riding skills. These boards are something of a hybrid between beginner boards and performance boards, so they are ideal for those surfers who have passed the beginner level but aren't quite ready for performance boards yet.
Evolutionary surfboards have some specific features that make them different from other types of boards. First, they are wider and thicker than performance boards, giving them greater stability and floatation. They also have a more rounded nose and tail shape, making them easier to maneuver in smaller, slower waves.
Another important feature of evolutionary surfboards is that they have a large amount of volume. Volume refers to the amount of space inside the table, and is measured in liters. The more volume a board has, the more buoyancy it will have, making it easier to paddle and easier to catch waves.
In addition to their shape and volume, evolutionary surfboards also have different materials and constructions that make them more durable and waterproof. For example, some boards have an expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam core that is encased in a layer of resin and fiberglass. Other boards may have a polyurethane (PU) foam core that is encased in a layer of resin and fiberglass.
So why should you choose an evolutionary surfboard over other types of boards? The answer is simple: if you're looking to progress your wave riding skills, an evolutionary board is the perfect option. These boards allow you to experiment with different types of waves and surf conditions, which will help you improve your technique and skills.
Also, evolutionary surfboards are very versatile and can be used by surfers of all skill levels. If you are a beginner, an evolutionary board will allow you to progress faster than a traditional beginner board. If you are a more experienced surfer, an evolutionary board will allow you to experiment with different types of waves and improve your ability in more challenging surf conditions.
In short, evolutionary surfboards are an excellent option for those looking to progress their wave riding skills. These boards are versatile, durable and easy to handle in different types of waves and surf conditions. If you are looking for a board that will help you improve your technique and skills, an evolutionary board is the perfect option.
